Carly Mercedes Dyer / Ensemble

Training: The Arts Educational School, BA (Hons) Musical Theatre.

Whilst Training: Mama Maddelena/Maria in Nine and Josephine in Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S Pinafore. She was also principally featured and dance captain on Once on This Island and Movin’ Out.

Theatre: Featured singer and understudy Elizabeth in Dirty Dancing (Aldwych); June in Chicago (Cambridge); Tribe and Soul Singer in Hair (English Theatre, Frankfurt); and ensemble in High School Musical (Hammersmith Apollo) understudying Taylor and Martha.

Other: Hortensia in Matilda (RSC Workshop); solo singer in Jason Robert Brown Workshop; and ensemble singer with Barbara Cook and Friends in 80th Birthday Celebration Concert (London Coliseum).

Carly is excited to be joining the original London cast of Rock of Ages and dedicates her performance in loving memory of her Grandma Irene Francis.
