Dan Looney


Dan is an Executive Producer at DLAP Ents with Adam Paulden. Dan is currently producing multiple musicals and plays across the UK, US and internationally, including the long awaited musical adaptation of the Sony/ScreenGems movie Burlesque, which is due to open on at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey in the Autumn of 2020, prior to it’s Broadway transfer in the Spring of 2021.

Dan’s recent and future producing credits include: Rock of Ages (UK & Ireland Tour; International Tour); The Wedding Singer (UK & Ireland Tour; International Tour); Burlesque – the Musical (Paper Mill Playhouse; Broadway), Fame! The Musical (UK Tour; International Tour); Company (West End) starring Patti LuPone, Boeing-Boeing (UK Tour), Curtains by Kander & Ebb (UK Tour) The Last King of Scotland (Sheffield Crucible; West End) and Chita Rivera: Live in London (Cadogan Hall, London).

Dan is also an actor and composer, recently playing Elder Poptarts in The Book of Mormon in London’s West End. Other credits include: Darling of the Day (European premiere); Guys and Dolls and The Concrete Jungle. Dan has also performed at three Olivier Awards and was the resident ‘joker’ at three Lighthouse Poole Pantos.

Composing credits include: The Confession Room (St James Theatre, West End); Judy – The Righteous (Trafalgar Studios, West End); Swear Our Love (London) and the score to feature film Opening Night of the Living Dead.

Dan has also won multiple awards as one half of the hugely successful radio show The Dan and Sam Show.
